Luggage storage World Trade Center: how much does it cost to store my luggage?
When it comes to a luggage storage service, the first question that pops into your head is: “how much am I going to pay to store my suitcase for a day?”
As you already know, you can find both storage lockers and other luggage storage facilities in New York City. Their prices vary according to several factors.
If you decide to pick a common locker, you’ll probably pay an hourly rate that hovers around $1-2 per hour.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind before booking a locker.
First of all, they’re usually too small to fit a bulky suitcase, so they’re comfortable only for some handy bag.
Another detail not to be underestimated is that you won’t find a person who will assist you. There is only security video surveillance. So, in case of an emergency, you will have to contact customer service.
On the other hand, some innovative luggage storage services cooperate with local companies to create a network of storage points in every corner of the city. They usually apply an affordable daily rate and are always verified and supervised by on-site staff.
How to choose the best luggage storage service in New York City
There’re several different ways to store your bags in NYC. As previously mentioned, you can find some self-service storage lockers or use a storage sharing service.
However, a widely held presence and a high-security level are key points to keep in mind when choosing luggage storage service in New York City.
Contrary to the standard lockers, modern luggage storage facilities are spread all over NYC. Most of them are located close to the main landmarks, including the World Trade Center.

As an alternative to these partnership services, you can find traditional luggage storage centers, usually near transit points.
However, they are less common and don’t charge a fixed rate—the price varies depending on the size of the bag.
What is the World Trade Center
The World Trade Center was a complex of seven buildings that housed hundreds of offices and thousands of workers in the Financial District of New York.
The iconic Twin Towers — both 110 stories high — were the city’s symbol and the highest skyscrapers in NYC until 9/11.
The towers were also a major tourist attraction. On the 107th-floor was an observatory called “Top of the World.”
A few years after the destruction, the New World Trade Center was erected. This new site includes the National 9/11 Memorial. It consists of two reflecting pools lying on the approximate site of each tower.
One World Trade Center
The One World Trade Cente, officially named the Freedom Tower, is the largest of a series of buildings raised in the New World Trade Center in New York City. It’s also the sixth tallest skyscraper in the world – 541 m high (1.780 ft).
Completed in 2014, the 104-floor tower consists mainly of offices and restaurants, while the highest floors make way for an observatory called One World Observatory.
