Gare du Nord guide

Gare du Nord Paris
Paris North station is one of the main train stations in Paris. It’s located in the 10th arrondissement and is close to the Gare de l’Est. Here you’ll find trains to Calais, Lille, Brussels, Amsterdam, London, and Cologne.

The station was built at the end of the 19th century and still preserves its beautiful facade. Take some time to admire its architecture!

If you have extra time before leaving, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and kiosks inside the building. However, we advise getting out of the bustling station and have a good french meal at one of the several brasseries in the surroundings.

At the North train station, there’s also a subway stop on Line 4 and Line 5 of the Paris Métro. Furthermore, it offers connections with urban transport lines, including RER and buses, useful to reach the most important landmarks, such as the Tour Eiffel, the Louvre Museum, the Notre-Dame, etc.

For example, to get to the Tour Eiffel, you need to take the RER B line to the Saint-Michel Notre-Dame stop and then RER C to the Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel stop. It’ll take you less than 30 minutes.
